Founder and President Zak Weisfeld has spent more than two decades creating and producing highly successful, non-fiction programming for major cable networks. Clients include Food Network, Discovery ID, Cooking Channel, Travel Channel, Discovery Channel, History Channel, HGTV, A&E, Oxygen, and National Geographic Channel.
His projects have covered a wide variety of genres ranging from docu-soap, science and true crime; to history and reality. They include hit series such as – Ginormous Food (Food Network), Murder Comes to Town (Discovery ID), Cake Hunters (Cooking Channel), City Confidential (A&E), Snapped (Oxygen) and Human Weapon (History) among many others.
In 2012 Libby Richman joined Lusid Media as Vice President of Development from Discovery Fit and Health, where she headed development for the network and also developed shows for sister networks OWN and TLC. She initially came to Discovery as an independent consultant, developing for a variety of networks and production companies.
Libby’s work history includes serving as Head of Production for two production companies, Half Yard Productions and Edelman Productions, where collectively she supervised more than fifteen series for ten different networks. She also developed shows including How the States Got their Shapes for History. Her television career started by being the 4th person hired to help launch National Geographic Channel.
