Principals

Zak Weisfeld

Founder and President Zak Weisfeld has spent more than two decades creating and producing highly successful, unscripted premium documentaries and programming for streamers and major cable networks. Clients include Peacock, Oxygen, HGTV, TLC, Food Network, Discovery ID, Discovery Channel, History Channel, A&E, Cooking Channel, Travel Channel, and National Geographic Channel.

His projects run the gamut of unscripted. They include critically acclaimed premium documentaries like Perfect World: A Deadly Game (Peacock) and series such as House in a Hurry (HGTV), Atlanta Justice (Discovery ID), Murder Comes to Town (Discovery ID), Brides, Grooms and Emergency Rooms (TLC), Cake Hunters (Food Network), City Confidential (A&E), Snapped (Oxygen) and Human Weapon (History) among many others.

Libby Richman

Libby Richman has served Lusid as Vice President, Development and Production since 2012. For Lusid Media she has developed and produced documentaries and series for Peacock, Discovery +, Investigation Discovery, HGTV, TLC, A&E, Food Network, Cooking Channel and Travel Channel.

After graduating from Vassar College, Libby began her career in independent feature films, working for legendary producers James Schamus and Ted Hope, and directors Ang Lee, Hal Hartley, Nicole Holofcener and others. Her transition to unscripted came in 2000 when she helped launch National Geographic Channel’s internal production unit. Libby has worn many hats for several different production companies and networks including Head of Production, Head of Development and Executive Producer. Her list of credits includes Say Yes to the Dress (TLC), The Real Housewives of DC (BRAVO), and dozens of feature films and unscripted series.

Currently residing in the Washington DC area, strengthening the production community has always been a priority for Libby, starting a networking group for producers and production managers in 2007 that is now 180 people strong, and donating time to serve on panels and workshops for Women in Film. In 2020 Libby co-founded Production Inclusion Project, an organization aimed at increasing production opportunities for young People of Color through mentorship.

Elizabeth Fisher

Elizabeth Fisher is Executive Producer at Lusid and an industry-leading unscripted showrunner. 

She oversees creative teams, producing an award-winning slate of documentary films, series, and specials for several streamers and most major cable networks.

Elizabeth has created and directed captivating, must-see programming for networks like Discovery, A&E, Peacock, History, Oxygen, and ESPN. Most recently known for the acclaimed psychological thriller Perfect World: a Deadly Game, she also helped pioneer several successful long-running series, including Biography (A&E), Murder Comes to Town (ID) and Snapped (Oxygen).

Elizabeth has a degree in Journalism from the University of Tennessee and began her true crime career as an associate producer on A&E’s City Confidential.

With decades of documentary experience across the globe she’s introduced millions to fascinating people, each with their own unique stories to tell.
